Roscoe's World Affiliate Program: Rules of Operation

Welcome to the Roscoe's World Ambassador Team!

We are so excited to partner with you. You're not just an affiliate; you're an ambassador for our mission to promote literacy and share the joy of Roscoe's World with families everywhere. This document is our day-to-day guide on how we can work together successfully. Our partnership is built on trust, and these guidelines are in place to protect you, your audience, and our brand.

1. The Golden Rules (Our "Must-Dos")

Be Honest and Transparent (FTC Disclosure): This is non-negotiable. You must clearly tell your audience you are using an affiliate link. This builds trust and is required by law (FTC).
- Good Examples: "This post contains affiliate links. If you buy something, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you." Or, on social media: #ad, #RoscoesWorldPartner, #sponsored.
- Bad Examples: Hiding the disclosure at the bottom of the page or not disclosing at all.
Be On-Brand and Positive: You are representing a children's brand and a literacy nonprofit.
- What to do: Promote our books and mission in a positive, family-friendly, and helpful way.
- What to avoid: Do not place our links on any websites or social media pages that contain profanity, violence, illegal activities, or any discriminatory or adult content.
- NO RELIGIOUS OR POLITICAL CONTENT: To keep our brand a safe and welcoming space for all families, your content promoting Roscoe's World must be neutral. Do not place our links or ads alongside any political or religious advertising or commentary of any kind.
Add Real Value: Your audience trusts you. The best way to make sales is to be authentic. Write an honest review, share a video of your family enjoying the story, or explain why you support our literacy mission.
Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older to participate in this program. If you are under 18, you may join only with the express written permission and co-agreement of a parent or legal guardian who will be bound by these terms.

2. Prohibited Activities (The "Don't-Dos")

Engaging in these activities will result in immediate removal from the program and forfeiture of all commissions.

DON'T Promote "Discount Stacking": Your affiliate link cannot be combined with other sitewide coupon codes or sales. If a customer uses a separate discount code, your affiliate commission for that sale may be voided. Do not promote your link as "stackable" with other offers.
DON'T Harass or Oversell: We believe in our products, but "hard selling," sending unsolicited DMs, or harassing comments are not our style. Be a helpful resource, not a pushy salesperson.
DON'T use your own affiliate link to make purchases for yourself, your family, or your friends. (”We provide you with special affiliate prices.”)
DON'T run Pay-Per-Click (PPC) ads (like on Google or Bing) that bid on our branded keywords (e.g., "Roscoe's World," "Marchandize Trading").
DON'T be a "Spammer." This includes sending unsolicited emails (spam) or posting your link in unrelated social media comments or forums.
DON'T create fake discount codes or promise "coupons" that don't exist to trick people into clicking your link.
DON'T misrepresent our brand. You cannot create social media accounts or websites that make it look like you are officially Roscoe's World. You must be clearly identified as an independent partner.

3. What We Do For You (Our Partnership Pledge)

This is a partnership, and we are here to help you succeed!
As a Roscoe's World Ambassador, you will get:

A Library of Brand Assets: You'll have access to our official folder of logos, product mockups, lifestyle photos, and approved images of Roscoe and the other characters.
Brand Support & Ad Approval: We want you to be creative! If you want to create a custom ad or graphic, you must send it to us for approval first. This protects you and us, and ensures the brand message is perfect. We'll do our best to review all submissions quickly.
Custom Creative (By Request): Have a great idea for a specific promotion (like for a holiday) and need a graphic we don't have? Ask us! We may be able to create custom sales ads for our top-performing partners.
Affiliate Pricing: As an affiliate, you have access to special affiliate prices for all products and services.
Reliable, On-Time Payments: We pay our partners on time, every time, as outlined in the Terms & Conditions. We will pay our affiliates through Venmo. So you have fast and easy access to your payouts.
A Dedicated Partner Contact: You're not just a number. You'll have a direct email to our affiliate manager (that's me!) to ask questions and get support.

We are in this together. When in doubt, our guiding principle is: "Is this helpful, honest, and positive for families?" If the answer is yes, you're on the right track.
